  • 1 cup gluten free flour
  • 1/2 cup Phytopúr Shake - Vanilla
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 2 1/2 bananas, ripe and mashed
  • 1/2 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (alcohol & gluten free)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray avocado oil or butter a 4×8 loaf pan.


In a large mixing bowl, mash bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter.


Mix baking soda and salt into the mixing bowl with banana and butter mixture. Then stir in the sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract. Then add the flour and mix.


Pour batter into loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Use toothpick to test when banana bread is done.


Remove loaf pan from oven and let cool on wire rack for a few minutes, then turn loaf pan over onto a cutting board to remove banana bread, gently flip back over and cool directly on wire rack. 


Once cool, slice, serve and enjoy!
